After about 8 weeks of training, I ran a half marathon (13.1 miles) with mom on October 18th. (In the picture, I'm wearing yellow and mom is wearing blue.) Our official time was 2 hours 45 minutes.
The race actually wasn't that bad. Don't get me wrong, it was a challenge but not as bad as working out 4 or 5 times a week and strength training with a personal trainer.I think my favorite part (besides the end of training) was chugging chocolate milk just after the finish line. Yum!
